If 2025’s Game of the Year, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has been on your gaming wishlist, there’s no need to wait for Black Friday sales to grab it at a discount. Amazon currently has its physical PlayStation 5 copy marked down to a new all-time low price of $34.65 – 31% off its list price – which you can get by ticking the coupon box on the store page (see it here).
This is the only way you’ll be able to see this deal price at checkout, so don’t forget to check the box before adding it to your cart. The coupon is also only available for a few more days, until October 26, so the clock is ticking to pick it up at this record-low price. Additionally, it’s only available for PS5 users. If you’re hoping to grab it for Xbox, you’ll unfortunately have to pay full price.
If you are able to take advantage of it, though, this is quite an exciting deal to have pop up before Black Friday sales kick off. It beats where we saw it during Prime Day earlier this year and in the middle of summer when it had another coupon appear at Amazon.
And yes, there’s every chance it will appear in Black Friday sales as well, but why wait to find out? Being able to grab this phenomenal game for $35 right now instead is well worth it.
Full of wonderful characters, an incredible story, and beautiful music, Clair Obscur is a game you certainly won’t regret adding to your library. Our 9/10 review from Michael Higham said that it, “paints itself into the pantheon of great RPGs with a brilliant combat system and a gripping, harrowing story.” So if this is your first time stepping into its world, you’re in for an unforgettable time.
Of course, Black Friday sales are coming up fast, so there’s sure to be even more gaming deals like this one popping up soon. But if you’re hoping to check out some more early deals in the meantime, Amazon’s dropped a new sale on select Square Enix games that’s worth having a look at as well.
