Prime Video has published a new Blade Runner 2099 trailer, revealing more about the mystery surrounding its missing Replicants, as well as the roles Hunter Schafer and Michelle Yeoh play in the story.
This more detailed look at the Amazon-backed limited series and its dystopian sci-fi setting arrived at New York Comic Con 2026. Attendees at the Blade Runner 2099 panel were treated to the new trailer in person, with both it and a new poster now available for all to see online.
Starring Schafer (Euphoria) and Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) as Cora and Olwen, respectively, Blade Runner 2099 is set to premiere in November. You can see the NYCC 2026 trailer below.

“Fifty years after the events of Blade Runner 2049, Los Angeles has been reborn, just not by humanity,” an official description from Prime Video said. “Cora, a fugitive in a final bid to stop running, takes on one last identity: a Blade Runner. Forced to partner with Olwen, a Replicant days from dying, she hunts down a runaway hiding a truth that could collapse a fragile city.”
Today’s comic-con trailer fills in some of the blanks left by the teaser revealed at San Diego Comic-Con this past July. Set 50 years after Ryan Gosling’s Blade Runner 2049 and 80 years after Harrison Ford’s original movie, Yeoh’s Olwen can be heard saying 10 female and 18 male Replicants have gone missing in the last year. Amid tense words from Schafer’s character, viewers are told that a mysterious “he” is out there, and he “knows the cure for all Replicants.”
“I don’t know what you’re doing,” Yeoh’s Olwen says as the trailer closes. “Do you?”
The Blade Runner 2099 NYCC 2026 trailer provided a closer look into a mystery that certainly looks like it will fit in with past entries, but we’ll have to wait until its November 25, 2026, release date to see how all of the pieces will come together. Its binge release plan will see all eight episodes available to stream on the same day.
With both Ridley Scott’s ’80s original film and Denis Villeneuve’s legacy sequel enjoying a dedicated following to this day, there’s already a lot of hype behind Blade Runner 2099. For more while we wait, you can read IGN’s new NYCC interview with showrunner Silka Luisa.
