As we head into the latter half of August and the final moments of summer 2026, the hot sale season is slowly coming to a close as we begin to look towards Fall, Black Friday, and the holidays that are fast approaching. Trust me, it’ll be here before you know it.
But, quite surprisingly, a brand new sale has surfaced that I wasn’t entirely expecting. Best Buy is hosting a special sale to mark 60 years since its inception. The 60th anniversary sale runs this week via its online store, with deals on tech and gaming available through Sunday, August 23.
There are some standout offers up for grabs, so I’ll leave a few of my favorite picks just below as well; otherwise, feel free to take a look and browse the full sale yourself.
Highlights for me, of course, are the wide selection of video games on sale. That includes Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth for Switch 2, down to $34.99. This physical version of the game includes an exclusive Zack Fair Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy card, which is perfect for fans and collectors alike.
If you’ve yet to experience this massive RPG, take a chance and pick up a copy this weekend at a discount. It’s pretty great exploring beyond Midgar on the Switch 2, just saying.
There’s also Star Wars Outlaws for just $12 on PS5, Apple AirPods Pro 3 for only $189.99, Magic: The Gathering’s Foundations Starter Collection for $47.99, and the Lego Creator 3 in 1 Astronaut set, down to $38.49.
