The Intel Gamer Days Sale, an annual event hosted by Intel, starts now and runs through September 13. The most notable deal during this event is the two free upcoming AAA games that come with an eligible gaming PC and laptop purchase – Star Wars: Galactic Racer, out on October 6, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, out on February 12 next year.
Upon purchase, you’ll receive instructions to claim a download voucher that can be redeemed once these games launch. This promotion is available at a number of participating retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, and Newegg, but currently some of the best ongoing deals on PCs and laptops can be found at Walmart.

Walmart is offering a CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme RTX 5070 Gaming PC for just $1,399 with free shipping after a $471 instant discount. It’s equipped with a 360mm liquid-cooled Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus CPU, GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5-6000MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The GeForce RTX 5070 is the best Nvidia card for 1080p and 1440p gaming and by itself this card retails for $600 (although generally it’s higher these days). It’s also powerful enough to run most games at 4K, although at that point you’ll see noticeable gains jumping up to a 5070 Ti.

Walmart is offering a stellar price on Gigabyte’s highest-end gaming laptop. For a limited time you can pick up a Gigabyte AORUS Master 16″ gaming laptop for just $3,599 after an $800 off instant discount. This all-metal laptop features a gorgeous OLED display, an Intel Core Ultra 9 HX series CPU, and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 discrete graphics. The RTX 5090 is the most powerful mobile graphics card on the market, performing about 15% better than the RTX 5080.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis show loads of promise
Star Wars: Galactic Racer will be the first of the two games to be released. It may initially come across as a standard racer, but IGN’s Matt Purslow was surprised by the actual depth of its roguelike campaign. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis won’t be out until next year. This is a ground-up remake of the original 1996 Tomb Raider. We’ve had a chance to preview it and so far IGN’s Simon Cardy is impressed that this 30-year old adventure is feeling like a brand new experience.
