Star Wars-based sets are some of LEGO’s most expensive – a result of the line’s reputation for high quality, combined with the 3rd party fees that Disney licensure demands. So when there’s any sort of discount on these sets, it’s usually worth consideration.
These Deal Days are some the only times when LEGO Star Wars costs what it actually should on a ‘per piece’ basis. Granted, you might be willing to pay extra for quality; that’s how LEGO stays in business, after all. But you shouldn’t have to if you can help it.

Imperial Star Destroyer
This set is more than its exterior; it opens up to reveal scenery inside, including a bridge, a command room, a break room, and an armory. It also comes with 7 minifigures, including one of Cal Kestis, the main character of the Star Wars Jedi game franchise. This deal has been available since the start of Prime Day and continues to be quite popular.
Tantive IV
The ultimate underdog, the Tantive IV is famous for its diminuitiveness, especially in contrast to the massive Star Destroyer that’s hot on its tail. When we watch Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, the opening sequence tells us everything we need to know without a single word. It’s cinematic storytelling at its finest.
This deal is one of the rare times where a retired LEGO set is still available at a third party outlet.
TIE Bomber
A heavy artillery unit, the TIE Bomber is all about the mechanical play functions. It has the traditional stud shooters, but it also has a weapons bay tthat lets you manually drop torpedos on Rebel scum.
Like the Tantive IV, this set is technically retired. So, you’re getting a discount off the original retail price, and you’re not getting ripped off by the secondhand market. It’s win/win.
