This month will see the continuation of ongoing series like the new For All Mankind spin-off, Star City, as well as a relatively small batch of new originals. Again, this one’s always about quality over quantity.
If you’re subscribed to Apple TV, here’s what you have to look forward to in June.
New Apple Originals Premiering in June
Cape Fear – June 5
A new miniseries adaptation of The Executioners by John D. MacDonald, which follows a man who, after being released from a 17-year prison sentence, sets out to take revenge on the married couple who had initially represented him in court. This one’s got a pretty all-star cast with Javier Bardem, Amy Adams, and Patrick Wilson, as well as big names like Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg rounding out the list of executive producers.
Sugar Season 2 – June 19
Another Apple Original returning for a second season, Sugar stars Colin Farrell as the private detective John Sugar in a genre-bending take on the neo-noir thriller. We got the chance to review the first season back in 2024, in which critic Rafa Sales Ross argued veered a little too much toward “style over substance.” That said, she also praises Colin Farrell’s performance, saying the actor “embodies the dapperness of the private detective to a T.”
Camp Snoopy Season 2 – June 26
Apple TV is the streaming home for all things related to the Peanuts franchise, including the spread of classic Snoopy holiday specials. One new series Apple TV premiered back in 2024 is Camp Snoopy, which gets some serious bonus points in my book for staying relatively faithful to the original series’ art style with Flash-animation.
The show, which will debut its second season toward the start of the month, follows Charlie Brown and friends’ summer camp adventures while they work toward new Snoopy’s Beagle Scouts badges.
Ongoing Shows With New Episodes
In addition to the new shows releasing this month, Apple TV has six other shows that will continue to drop new episodes throughout June.

Apple TV Subscription Options
Apple TV is one of the more unique streaming services. It only offers one subscription plan, which costs $12.99/month, and is otherwise available through one of the more reasonably priced streaming bundles with Peacock. The most common entry point for Apple TV is the three-month trial included in most new Apple device purchases, but the streaming service also happens to offer its own seven-day free trial for new subscribers.
