If you’ve been thinking it’s time to grab a new controller for your PS5, we have some good news: there have been plenty of great controller deals included in PlayStation’s Days of Play sale this year.
In particular, if you’re looking to go big on a premium controller option for your console, both the black and white models of DualSense Edge have received $30 discounts as part of the sale.
This has brought the price of both controllers down to $169. Compared to their usual high price tag of $199.99, it’s a pretty nice deal to take advantage of.
However, it is worth noting that it’s not the lowest price we’ve seen for this controller. That was actually last year during Black Friday sales when it hit $159.99, but that’s still just $10 of difference. If you’ve had your eye on it, this is still a great opportunity to save on it. In general, we certainly think it’s a controller worth having for your PS5.
IGN’s review of the DualSense Edge from Matthew Adler received a glowing 9/10 score at the time of its release. Adler said it “puts its customization front and center with its slick software and intuitive Function buttons, finally giving PlayStation owners an answer to the venerated Xbox Elite.” But that’s not all.
We also consider it the ‘Best Pro-Style PS5 Controller’ in our roundup of the best PS5 controllers, as it “retains all of the standard DualSense’s core features like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, but adds a deeper level of control for players looking to elevate their game.”
