In the lead-up to Mother's Day, Macy’s is offering a one-day-only sale on the LEGO Botanicals collection. The details are pretty simple: Every eligible LEGO Botanicals set is down to $39.99, which results in anywhere from 20% up to 43% off standard pricing. That's massive for any LEGO deal, and brings plenty of these floral sets down to their lowest price ever.
Today Only: LEGO Botanicals Sale at Macy’s
The sale includes 15 Botanicals sets total, which might not be every single set in the collection, but it definitely covers the major highlights. The Botanical sets not included in the sale are generally smaller sets, like the Daisies or Bamboo Tree, that you’ll already be able to find for under $30. For reference, LEGO generally follows a pretty standard “price per brick” model.
I've been covering LEGO deals for a couple of years now, and the standard discounts are usually somewhere around 15%. If you see anything above 30%, you’re scoring a serious deal. According to price tracker camelcamelcamel, some sets that are at lower prices than they've ever been on Amazon include the Hibiscus Flower, Peace Lily, and the Sunflower Bouquet.
As someone who’s built a fair amount of these sets, I highly recommend thinking about how exactly you’re going to display them. Some sets, like the Orchid and Bonsai Tree, are ready to display immediately. Other sets, like the Magnolia Branches, will require some sort of container to stand up straight. I guess that’s the real bouquet experience.
I’m also of the opinion that any of these sets would make a particularly great Mother’s Day gift. I’ve been getting my mom LEGO sets for the past couple of years now, which become more than just a gift because we always try to make the time to build them together. These are also flowers you can guarantee will never wilt.
Upcoming LEGO Botanicals
What you won’t be able to find listed in the sale are upcoming LEGO Botanicals sets, which I am very excited about. For June, LEGO has announced a set of smaller Cosmos Flowers as well as an aquatic Water Lilies set. However, the major highlight in my personal opinion is the upcoming LEGO Woodland Mushrooms set, now available to preorder for $79.99. LEGO will be releasing all three of these new sets (alongside plenty of others) on June 1.
