Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Casts WWE Legend Chris Jericho

Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 continues to expand its cast with WWE superstar Chris Jericho.

New set photos spotted by Dexter Daily have confirmed that Chris Jericho will be stepping into the Dexter-verse. Some of the images are spoiler-y, but do indicate that Jericho will be joining the cast as some kind of antagonist.

This news comes just a day after it was revealed that Friday the 13th actor Kane Hodder would be in Dexter: Resurrection Season 2. Hodder’s role is being kept under wraps, but the brief look at his character that producers shared also suggested he will be someone Dexter has to take down. Dexter: Resurrection Season 1 ended with Dexter Morgan stealing a bunch of files that included details on active serial killers.

Dexter is likely using all of his newfound info to track down and stop various serial killers. Hodder and Jericho may play some of those killers, meaning they may have small roles that only appear in a handful of episodes. Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 will also feature Brian Cox as the infamous New York Ripper and Dan Stevens as the Five Borough Killer, both of whom seem to have more prominent roles this season.

Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 only just began shooting in New York two weeks ago, so there may be more star-studded names on the call sheet in future episodes that have yet to be announced.

Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is expected to be released later this year.
