Capcom has announced Capcom Fighting Collection 2, another bundle of classic fighting games from the company’s extensive back catalog.

As revealed during Nintendo Direct August 2024, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 includes eight games:

  • Capcom vs SNK
  • Capcom vs SNK 2
  • Project Justice
  • Capcom Fighting Evolution
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
  • Plasma Sword
  • Power Stone
  • Power Stone 2

Each game includes a number of new features, including online play. Capcom Fighting Collection 2 launches on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in 2025. There is no mention of an Xbox release.

The lack of an Xbox release for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is the latest in a series of Capcom collections to skip Microsoft's console, much to the annoyance of owners. In June, ‘No Xbox’ was trending on social media as fans hit out at the hotly anticipated Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics skipping Microsoft's consoles.
