As part of the mega Spring Sale that's going on right now, Amazon has dropped the price of the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones to $199.95 with free shipping. That's over 50% off its listed retail price of $450 and the lowest price I've seen for these headphones. Its audio prowess, noise canceling performance, and build quality rival other premium headphones like the Sony WH-1000XM6 or the Bose QuietComfort Ultra. At this price, it's less expensive by at least $100.

Sennheiser Momentum 4 Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones

Sennheiser is a highly respected name in the audiophile industry and the Momentum 4 is its best noise canceling headphone. The tuned 42mm transducer system produces the signature sound quality that Sennheiser is known for and a built-in EQ, presets, and sound modes offer plenty of user customization. The noise cancellation is also quite good, and if you actually do need to listen in on your surroundings, Transparency Mode that lets you do so without taking off your headphones. The padded headphone band and ear cushions allow you to wear these headphones for hours on end in comfort, and they're also easy to stow away in the included carrying case since the earcups can swivel inwards.

What sets the Momentum 4 apart most from its competition is its battery life. These headphones boast an unrivalled 60 hours of playtime from a single charge. As a comparison, the Sony WH-1000XM6 is reported to have up to 40 hours of battery life and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra even less than that at 30 hours. For the times you do need to charge, the USB Type-C port means that you don't need to carry around a legacy or proprietary cable.

There's a lot of stiff competition in the noise cancelling headphone sub-$400 space, but at the discounted price of $200, the Momentum 4 simply can't be beat. We don't know how long this deal will stick around, but if you're in the market for some good headphones at a great price, you should jump on this.
