Hasbro’s Marvel Legends series has been releasing high-quality role-play gear and costume pieces for years now. The next one to be released is one of the most exciting, at least for this ‘90s kid. It’s a Wolverine mask that you can wear or use as a display piece. It’s set to release on October 1 for $99.99, but you can preorder it now (see it on Amazon). That’s a good looking mask, bub.
Marvel Legends Series Wolverine Premium Roleplay Mask
The mask’s design is based on the X-Men superhero’s costume in the movie Deadpool & Wolverine. I think it’s one of the better designs of all the Wolverine movies. The scale of this mask is 1:1, so you can put it on your head whenever the need arises.
It features the iconic yellow and black color scheme, with battle damage details that makes it look like it’s been through a few supervillain fights. It also has white eye screens, which make it look very cool sitting on the included display stand.
Other Marvel Legends masks include an upcoming wearable Spider-Man mask with electronic eyes, as well as an impressive looking Doctor Doom helmet that’s available now (see it at Amazon). There’s also a Star-Lord helmet and a Green Goblin helmet that are both still available to purchase.
The Marvel Legends series also includes plenty of premium quality action figures. You can peruse some of them below.
What we said about the movie
In our Deadpool & Wolverine movie review, critic Tom Jorgensen wrote:
Deadpool & Wolverine is an outrageous, consistently funny superhero comedy that succeeds largely thanks to the contagious enthusiasm of leads Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, and a surprisingly classy perspective on superhero movie history. Wade and Logan’s profanity-laced adventure forces the MCU farther out of its comfort zone than it’s been in years, even though old and increasingly frustrating issues like forgettable villains and a barely there plot show that breaking the fourth wall isn’t always enough to solve a movie’s foundational problems.
