Amazon has dropped the price of the Chroma Pearl DualSense controller to just $54, undercutting the retailer’s Black Friday deal of $59. However, there’s a significant caveat: the controller is currently out of stock, with no confirmed shipping date.
Shoppers can still lock in the discount, without being charged until the controller ships, but the uncertainty makes it a gamble for anyone hoping to give it as a holiday gift.
There’s a chance Amazon might not fulfill orders until next year. If you’re unwilling to wait, Walmart has the Chroma Pearl controller listed for slightly more, $59, and will ship before Christmas.
For those willing to wait, the savings at Amazon are substantial and the best offer currently available. It’s a $26 drop from the $79.99 launch price in early November, making it one of the best PlayStation deals right now.
Considering it’s only been on the market for about a month (released on Nov. 7), such a steep price cut is rare—especially one better than the Black Friday offer. There are also still a few deals left over on DualSense Controllers from the Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and PlayStation 30th Anniversary sale.
Other color variants such as the Galactic Purple, Gray Camo, Midnight Black, and more are still at the $54 Black Friday price, while a few other special colorways can also be found for $59, $20 off the list price.
We’ve prioritized listing deals that will ship before December 25, just to keep things as convenient as possible for any readers looking to snag gifts in the coming days.
