Heads up, Horizon fans: The awesome LEGO Tallneck set is on sale at Amazon for Cyber Monday. LEGO has actually retired this set, meaning it’s not making any more of them. When stock runs out at all of the retailers, it’ll be gone, available primarily for marked-up prices on eBay. So if you’ve had your eye on it but never pulled the trigger, this is probably your best bet, forever. Get it now if you want it.
LEGO Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck for $62.99
This set represents the first time Sony partnered with LEGO on the Horizon franchise. The two companies would go on to release an entire game that re-tells the Horizon saga in LEGO form, with LEGO Horizon Adventures. But this set was here first. It came out in 2022, and we built it, so check out our We Build LEGO Horizon Forbidden West Tallneck feature for details on what it’s like to put together.
Basically, it’s a 1,222-piece set that includes a hulking Tallneck robo-dinosaur, standing on some futuristic-historic terrain. Also included is an Aloy minifigure with bow and spear accessories, plus a Watcher figure you can deck out with red, yellow, or blue eyes, depending on the threat level you want to depict.
It’s a great set and, seeing as it’s retired, now is probably the best time to pick it up going forward. LEGO isn’t manufacturing any more of them, so it will only become more and more rare from here on out. Get it while the getting’s good.
There are a lot more LEGO Cyber Monday deals available, so check them out if someone on your gift list this year would like a cool building set.
